Beauty professionals will come together at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) for Beauty Melbourne 2019 this weekend, with plenty for the industry to see, sample and shop across professional skincare, makeup, grooming and nails.

“I can’t wait to see Beauty Melbourne unfold this weekend” said Cory Watson, Event Director at Beauty Melbourne. “We’ve worked hard to create a truly valuable and enriching experience for our visitors, where they can take key learnings home and apply these to their businesses to help them flourish and stay ahead of the competition in their fields. It’s going to be a wonderful jam-packed weekend of all things beauty!”

Victoria’s premier boutique event for the beauty industry has an impressive agenda for visitors, with an extensive education program featuring leading industry experts who will share insights into the latest techniques and trends; from microblading and cosmetic injectables to using social media to propel businesses.

Free demonstrations will also take place at the Beauty Live Stage, which will offer 25 sessions showcasing a plethora of topics, including makeup looks straight off the runway, natural skincare, and skills for business owners.

The Beauty Live Stage welcomes Dr Irene Prantalos’ ‘Empower your clients with the Right Nutritional and Lifestyle Advice’ session on day one. Dr Prantalos, who specialises in Chinese Medicine, will discuss the remarkable effect food has on skin. She will touch on her own personal experiences and how the lessons she has learned can be translated to attendee’s clients.

Tanya Guccione’s ‘Hot off the Runway’ session is a highlight for day two of Beauty Melbourne. Throughout the session, Guccione will explain what is forecasted in the makeup world for the coming seasons, share new product discoveries, and will delve into Runway Trends versus pop culture trends and how to tell the difference.

Also on day two at the Beauty Live Stage is Allan Danto’s ‘Sea Salt: The untapped benefits to your skin & health’ session. Danto will illustrate how the benefits of Sea Salt therapy and exfoliation procedures are wide ranging and key to good dermal health and beautiful skin.

Show specials continue to be a draw-card at Beauty Melbourne, and there’s an array of show specials on offer this year from big brands including Artisan Skin Therapy, Sakury, and Olie Pure Skincare, amongst many others. Visitors can get fantastic discounts of up to 60% on selected products over the Beauty Melbourne weekend.
